The Skinny Girl Diet

Goal: Flat stomach by March 2010...cut abs sometime soon . No this is not a New Years Resolution, I do not believe in those, especially since I make myself goals and plans all year round. This is a daily excerpt of my journey to achieve my goal. 

Many people have a misconception that skinny is good, that its healthy, and that skinny people do not need to diet. Well here's the truth...some skinny people were once chunky or they appear skinnier then they are. Those who starve themselves, take diet pills/ cleansers/ voodoo potions, are definitely not healthy!!! The purpose of my journey is not to lose weight, but to lose the fat that has taken up occupancy on my stomach and is preventing my abs from flaunting themselves. It is also to gain muscle (I am not afraid of the scale).

The fact is that one can always perfect their body. Our bodies are extraordinary machines and with proper care, motivation, nutrition, and exercise we can always look better (yes even the 8-pack stud that walks around the gym without a shirt).

I am just like you. I don't love to workout or eat vegetables (well I do like veggies, but I do enjoy cheesecake as well!!!) or have the luxury to spend hours caring for my appearance...but I do have the ability to make the right choices. 

 P.S. And like you, I am a huge fan of excuses ;)
